Rosadalima Dee Panda
Rosadalima (Rosa) is a change-seeker who develops community-driven programs in ActSEA (Action for Change) foundation to strengthen the voices and power of communities and build solidarity across borders to create change. In this role, she leads and initiates the implementation and development of projects related to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and education working with schools and communities. She is also a part time lecturer in Chemistry in a local university (Institut Nasional Flores). Her interest ranges from education to community development.
She is a founder and member of a youth organization that supports young activists and provide safe space (Bidara Community), serves as a volunteer for a local foundation, and develops a platform for ecotourism and environmental awareness in her area.
Rosa changed the direction of her career when she left her position with a private company in Jakarta to earn a master’s degree in environmental engineering and then returned to her hometown of Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara in 2018. Adjusting to life in her hometown after years in Jakarta initially was challenging, but she has found satisfaction in joining forces with others who want to develop a community and serve the young people who live there.
Rosa hopes the Equity Initiative will enrich her experience in health equity and open new opportunities for collaboration in community development.
