Ada Chirapaisarnkul

Ada is the CEO of TaejaiDotcom, the first and largest civic crowdfunding platform in Thailand with a mission to connect citizen philanthropists with on-the-ground changemakers.

Under Ada’s leadership, TaejaiDotcom has supported initiatives to make health care and other social services more accessible to the least privileged populations in Thailand, and it has been instrumental in mobilizing resources for populations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to her roles at TaejaiDotcom, Ada has worked in various ways to build the social investment sector, shape national and regional social investment landscapes, and engage new social impact players in Thailand and Asia.

She mentors current and future changemakers and shares her expertise with other civil society organizations that aim to support, engage, and educate active citizens or empower less advantaged populations.

In 2008 she set up the Thai Young Philanthropist Network (TYPN) as a means to connect people who want to build a social entrepreneurship movement in Thailand; since then, TYPN has engaged about 1,800 active citizens in public and social services and empowered 60 for-impact organizations.

Ada looks forward to being part of the Equity Initiative’s multidisciplinary network, with Fellows amplifying their impact by working collectively toward shared goals.
