Noor Affizan Rahman
Noor is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Ministry of Health, dedicated to saving and preserving sight. She previously served as the Medical Superintendent at the National Isolation Centre (NIC), where her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic earned her recognition as one of the '50 Leading Lights for Kindness & Leadership - Asia Pacific Award' in 2022. Currently, Noor leads the Climate, Health, and Sustainability Taskforce at the Ministry of Health, where she is spearheading the Sustainability Initiative, a bold project aimed at transforming healthcare practices in Brunei toward a more sustainable and climate-resilient future. Beyond her work in healthcare, Noor is a passionate advocate for personal and professional development. She speaks at schools, organisations, and forums promoting community service and personal growth. In 2019, she launched You Can Lead BN, an online platform that shares personal and professional development opportunities from around the world. This platform has empowered young people in Brunei to pursue their passions and achieve their goals. Noor is an ambassador for Women of the Future Southeast Asia and looks forward to expanding her network and gaining experience to tackle a diverse range of health equity challenges.
