He advocates for evidence-based health policies that incorporate multiple perspectives – including those of policymakers, healthcare providers, users, and others. In 2015 he was part of a team that assisted the Deputy Health Minister to expand health insurance coverage to an additional 200,000 stateless people living in Thailand. He has served as a member of the Social Determinants of Health Working Group, appointed by the Deputy Prime Minister, and on several other committees on public health in the region.
