Nila Tanzil

Nila Tanzil A children's literacy advocate with a mission to nurture the children's love of reading by providing access to books to those who live in remote areas of Eastern Indonesia.  Since 2009, she has established over 200 children's libraries across 19 islands, benefitting over 40,000 children and distributing more than a quarter million of books and trained more than 10,000 teachers in remote villages in Indonesia.  Nila is an author of three books, titled Lembar-Lembar Pelangi (2016), The Art of Giving Back (2018), and Teman Baru Epi (2018).   She is currently pursuing her PhD in Education at Curtin University, Australia.
