This film marks the 10th anniversary of the Equity Initiative (EI), a program of the CMB Foundation and one of seven global Atlantic Fellows programs, working to advance health equity across Southeast Asia and China. Through the voices of Fellows from across the region, the film reflects on what it means to build leadership rooted in community, lived experience, and collective learning. Fellows share how the program shaped their perspectives, strengthened their leadership, and supported work across issues such as mental health, climate justice, disability inclusion, gender, and health systems. The Equity Initiative begins with an Induction Year of shared learning and leadership development, and continues through lifelong Community Building. Beyond the Fellowship year, Fellows collaborate across countries and sectors, leading projects, influencing systems, and working together to address real-world challenges affecting health and wellbeing. This anniversary film looks back on a decade of learning and connection, and forward to the role Fellows continue to play as leaders, bridges, and collaborators in the region.
